= Instalar o PostgreSQL =

1) Instalar o módulo

sudo dnf module install postgresql:15/server

2) Inicializar o cluster de banco de dados
<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
sudo postgresql-setup --initdb
</syntaxhighlight>

3) Habilitar e iniciar o serviço
<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
systemctl enable postgresql
systemctl start postgresql
</syntaxhighlight>

= Criar o banco de dados e o Usuário =

1) Criar o usuário e o banco de dados

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
sudo -u postgres createuser appuser
sudo -u postgres createdb -O appuser APPDB
</syntaxhighlight>


2) Gerando uma senha forte

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
tr -dc A-Za-z0-9 </dev/urandom | head -c 50
</syntaxhighlight>

3) Acessando o psql

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
sudo -u postgres psql
</syntaxhighlight>

4) Alterando a senha:

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
ALTER USER postgres WITH PASSWORD '...';
ALTER USER "appuser" WITH PASSWORD '...';
</syntaxhighlight>

= Alterar o acesso do client =

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
cd /var/lib/pgsql/data
cp pg_hba.conf pg_hba.conf_original
vi pg_hba.conf
</syntaxhighlight>

Modificar o conteúdo:

# "local" is for Unix domain socket connections only
local   all             all                                     scram-sha-256
# IPv4 local connections:
#host    all             all             127.0.0.1/32            ident

# IPv6 local connections:

= Habilitar conexões remotas =

cd /var/lib/pgsql/data
cp postgresql.conf postgresql.conf_original
vi postgresql.conf

Adicionar ou modificar:

= Reiniciar o serviço =
