WPS: Install Websphere Portal Server
In this article series, i will be showing how to install IBM WebSphere Portal Server (WPS) 6.1 on Linux.
The installation was tested over CentOS Release 5.2 inside a Guest VM in XEN with 2 GB of RAM.
Obs.: Other versions had been tested, with similar problems, that had been solved with the steps bellow.
Install Procedure
Step 1: WPS: Pre-install Tasks for Linux - !!! Very Important !!!
Step 2: WPS: Required Files for WPS on Linux 6.1
Step 3: WPS: Install WebSphere Portal Server on Linux 6.1
Optional: WPS: Enabling the sample IBM Lotus Web Content Management™ content 6.1
