Instalando o MySQL no Linux

Se o MySQL já estiver instalado no seu servidor você pode ir para o próximo passo, lembrando que o servidor do MySQL deve estar iniciado.

linux> yum -y install mysql mysql-server

Inicie o servidor

linux> service mysqld restart

ou para fedora

linux> systemctl start mysqld

Conectando ao servidor

Primeiro, use o programa mysql para se conectar ao servidor como o usuário root do MySQL:

linux> mysql -u root -p

Pronto você já entrou no MySQL.


Criando o Primeiro Banco

mysql> CREATE DATABASE testeDB


Liberando o acesso remoto

Permitindo o acesso do usuário root de qualquer estação

mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO root@'%'

Permitindo o acesso para o usuário qualquer

mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO ebasso@'%'
           IDENTIFIED BY 'alguma_senha' WITH GRANT OPTION;
